Oh how we love visitors!

There are many reasons we love living in Orlando but as I've said before, the main one has to be crossing paths with so many dear friends who travel to our part of the world! Here is how the spring unfolded for us this year on the visitor front...

The Johnsons! Jack and Ted have been best friends since they met back in college and up until now, it's been since we were first married that we've actually lived in the same state. So after a great weekend with them at their place a few weeks ago, it was time to host them here for a fun filled weekend!

Next it was our sweet friends the Deans who came in from Ohio for their spring break. As excited I was to see Fawn, without question Sage would be the one most excited since she has been begging ever since last summer when she saw Tanna in Utah to see her best friend again this year. I wish I had captured a photo of Sage answering the door when they first arrived since we it was a surprise we had kept from Sage, but the memory will have to do. An added bonus was that sweet Taylor had joined the Dean family on this trip too so Sage got to see her too! Good times!

Next up was the Sundwall/Reynolds clan who were flying out for a cruise with their extended family but made time in their schedules to come visit us. From trips to SeaWorld and rides on the jet skis, everyone had a blast! We love these families so much. It really felt like no time had passed since we last saw them. Now we just need to plan our next meet up!

It's Julie and Maddie! When Julie first called to say there was a chance Maddie's special needs dance group would be invited to participate at Disney we both kept our fingers crossed that it indeed would happen. Well sure enough it did and what a treat it was to see them. And seeing Maddie perform at Disney was icing on the cake! Clearly you can see from the excitement on Julie's face and her jet skiing attire how excited she was to go out on a Florida lake...haha! We sure miss our great Ohio neighbors!!!

Every year these guys have gotten together in memory of our dear friend Ty Bailey who died of cancer seven years ago. They call it the "Tycation" in honor of him and although they all aren't able to make the trip every year, the trip goes on and memories are made in his name. This year they chose Orlando as the place and Jack did a great job hosting them at the parks and here at the house. Although they rented a house in Kissimee, they spent a lot of their time using our place as a resting spot in between their golf, beach, and park visits. What a great group of guys that we feel honored to call our friends.

Um what you forgot the most important visitors or the spring, us. Ha ha. (That was stated completely sarcastically). I know when you live in touristy places it makes for lots of visitors and it usually seems to come at the same time. You guys are always great hosts. Looks like lots of fun seeing all your different groups of friends. And of course we lived our time there and we hope we can make it back sometime soon.

Don't fret! Your entry takes a lot more time but it's coming... :)
