It was an action fun packed week for Gary, Kelly and the boys. We knew it was a special occassion for them to get away on a week long trip so we did our best to make sure they were well taken care of and had a great time! Here are the highlights of the trip...
Day 1: After spending their travel day getting settled we spent the next day at Disney Springs and introducing them to our favorite pizza place, Blaze Pizza!
Day 2: Next it was a day at Aquatica, SeaWorld's water park. The fast moving river is always a hit! Later that night we all went to watch the boys play in a water polo game.
Day 3: SeaWorld! From a whale encounter to a dolphin encounter to watching manatees that had just been rescued and were being treated, to touching penguins and snakes we were quite the busy bees. Oh how we love SeaWorld and all the amazing good they do that goes unnoticed on a daily basis.
Day 4: Busch Gardens! From the serengeti to river rafts and roller coasters to a Bret Michaels concert we covered it all.
It's not often you unexpectedly get invited to meet a band backstage but when Jack's head of HR at Busch Gardens invited us to join her for a meet and greet we weren't about to turn it down. Bret was super cool and it was fun to watch all the behind the scenes stuff that goes on before a concert. If you look closely I was able to capture a photo of him as he was prepping just before he went onstange.
Of course the highlight of the day for Preston was catching the drummer's drum stick! He may have never heard of Poison but all he could talk about after was how excited he was to have this drum stick in his possession. If I remember correctly he was going to even sleep with it...hahaha!
Day 5: A day of rest! After a week of perfect weather we awoke on Sunday to an overcast and dreary looking day...not the weather you want to have when heading to the beach for the day so instead chilled at home hoping that weather would clear in time for Monday to make it to the beach. You can't come all the way to Florida and not see the beach! I think Boston and Preseton especially were ok with hanging at the house because this meant a bit more fishing and hot tub time!
Day 6: Cocoa Beach! Indeed in typical Florida fashion, the weather cleared and was perfect on Monday, their last full day with us, so to the beach we went! After a stop at Ron Jon's, our feet finally hit some sand. We basically had it to ourselves since school was in session and it was a weekday. Picture perfect day!
The final supper! Of course we had to end the trip just where it all began...Blaze Pizza. We will look forward to seeing this gang back in Utah this July! We love you Gary and Kelly, Boston, and Preston!!! Thanks for coming to visit!!!

Oh man I spoke too soon. We get our own post. Ha. We loved coming to visit and had such a wonderful time. Thanks for everything you guys did for us. Can’t wait to come back.
