Time to celebrate Camilla!

I always look forward to welcoming another member to the family, especially when they are a girl!  How excited we are for Paul and Camilla to have found one another.  It took a bit longer than they probably had planned but better late than never.  From her bridal shower to a brunch at the Grand America Hotel with her Australian family and friends, what fun it was! Here are just a couple photos I captured of her fun celebrations!

Our great host Eddie!

While Camilla was taking her mom and sister to see some of the sights this evening, Paul had planned to take his soon to be father and brothers in-law to the BYU football game.  It was the best game BYU had played in quite a while so how fun it was for them to experience American football and a BYU win!

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

Heaven knows how many more anniversary celebrations we have ahead of us so we have to make certain we celebrate as many as possible.  While not everyone could be here, it's always nice to have an excuse to get together with whoever we can!

A perfect opportunity to whip out the pop up pickleball court...haha!
I spy Gary! Love you mom and dad!

Our Freshman!

It was bittersweet to get Sage set up in her dorm room.  While I was sad to realize that we were officially becoming empty nesters at this point, I also was so excited for her and the fun times that were ahead for her.  My college days were some of the most fun days of my life (clearly from my freshman grades) but I have no doubt Sage will be able to balance friends, fun, and school much better than I did. And lucky for her, she wouldn't have a total stranger she'd be rooming with as her and her cousin Halle were rooming together!  Halle wasn't arriving until the next day so I don't have any photos of them together but the whole time we were getting her settled in her dorm room, girls kept coming by and introducing themselves!  Within hours of arriving she had made new friends and was off to go with a bunch of them to their first freshman activity!

Sage pulled through for me and had a friend capture a photo of her on the first day of school...haha! Some traditions never die... Go Cougars!
