Happy 18th birthday to these two!!!

It's hard enough to believe these two are seniors in high school and will be out of the house in a matter of months but it seems unreal that they are EIGHTEEN! I was in college when I turned 18. Adults are 18, but my babies are not adults yet so how can this be possible!!! While it was not the most exciting birthday since Jack was out of town and we were still up in the air on what gift we would be giving them, they still got to pick their dinner spot so off to Gators we went since they love their wings!

Birthday dessert!

While it's not the most pretty cake, it's the dessert they chose. Hello Dolly bars...a family favorite!

I really feel terrible that for such a monumental birthday there was no big celebration planned or some amazing gift to surprise them with. But these two didn't seem to be phased by it at all. They are such blessings in our lives and we couldn't be more proud of them. In the end they know we'll make it right and they'll get something special!

Super Bowl Sunday 2020

Super Bowl Sunday with this crew!!! It's hard to believe this is probably the last Super Bowl Sunday, at least for a while, that the boys will be home for! It makes me so sad to think about that. So on our way home from church I insisted they let me take a photo of them since they all looked so nice, unknowingly coordinated, and it was a beautiful morning. Of course there was a long drawn out sigh but in the end I got my way. haha! What a blessing these people are in my life.

A short time later it was time to party. We had gone from no plans that morning to a house full of kids and adults that evening. Nothing like last minute planning and thankfully I have a bunch of food. This was a big game for the Knudsen family because while the whole family has always been 49er fans, Sean turned into a huge Chiefs fan years ago when Joe Montana left the Niners to go to the Chiefs, and he has stayed a huge fan ever since. How excited he was for the Chiefs to finally win a championship!

The Boys!
