Once in a while dreams come true and owning this truck for Jack is that. He has always loved trucks and ever since our Seattle days he'd been eyeing a Ford Raptor. After we moved to Ohio we had talked about getting one but then Ford discontinued them. When they reintroduced them a few years later, around the time we were moving to Florida, it was on Jack's radar again. Well, as it turned out on the last day of 2018 we finally found the one he wanted with the options he wanted, in the color he wanted. The only problem was it was here in Florida and he'd be in Utah working for the majority of the time. We decided to go with it anyway. In the last year and a half it only has about 6K miles that we've put on it. It's certainly not a truck I like driving as it's even bigger than my Escalade. But it's a dream for Jack to drive it each weekend he's home. While we were in Utah for our summer vacation he decided to have some additional work done on it, including a lift, a light package, darker tinted windows, new tires and rims, retractable running boards, and an engine booster. I can't tell you how excited he was when the company that was performing the work updated him with some photos. Boys and their toys... if it's not guns, it's trucks... and boy does he baby both!
Getting educated on how to use the booster...
The prettiest photos he'll ever have of it...clearly not taken by me.
