It's hard enough to believe these two are seniors in high school and will be out of the house in a matter of months but it seems unreal that they are EIGHTEEN! I was in college when I turned 18. Adults are 18, but my babies are not adults yet so how can this be possible!!! While it was not the most exciting birthday since Jack was out of town and we were still up in the air on what gift we would be giving them, they still got to pick their dinner spot so off to Gators we went since they love their wings!
Birthday dessert!
While it's not the most pretty cake, it's the dessert they chose. Hello Dolly bars...a family favorite!
I really feel terrible that for such a monumental birthday there was no big celebration planned or some amazing gift to surprise them with. But these two didn't seem to be phased by it at all. They are such blessings in our lives and we couldn't be more proud of them. In the end they know we'll make it right and they'll get something special!
