Off roading behind Deer Creek. This was my brother Paul's idea and aside from the sides of my old car being completely scratched up and Ty mentioning how cool it is that we now have dozens of "race stripes" running down the sides of the car, it was a lot of fun!
Getting to spend a little time with Teagen. The boys and Sage were especially excited to see their cousin Teagen. Although it wasn't for much time, it was better than nothing... I'm making a prediction now that he will play college sports of some sort. He's one athlete!
The boys attending BYU all sports camp. They had a blast playing a different sport each day. It was like a NYC reunion when we arrived. Many of our friends came out for the same camp which made drop off and pick up a lot more fun!
Swimming, Swimming, and more Swimming! One of the things we love about coming out to Utah is having such convenient access to pools. This year in addition to Scera Pool in Orem, we added the Lindon, Lehi, and Provo pools to our favorites list. The kids loved all of them!
Once Jack arrives into town, the real fun begins...One of his first adventures was taking Sean and Paul to Sundance to rent these Digglers (scooters) that we had seen last year. He was dying to test them out. The trip was successful until poor Paul decided to do some risky maneuvers on his and ended up tearing apart his back...
One of the big highlights of the trip was watching Connor, Tyler and Jack speak in my parent's branch that they serve in at church. They did a fantastic job. Afterwards we took a few of these shots:
Boating! Even Sage took her turn out on the tube with Jack. One of these days we may just have to give in and buy our own boat...
A trip to Snowbird with Steve where the kids panned for minerals, hanging out at the Provo River, and hunting down where all the paragliders are taking off from. There was a national championship happening during the time we were out there and one of the take off points was up on the mountain behind my parents house. It was amazing to see 80 paragliders all circling in the air above my parents house. Jack and I have put this on our list of stuff to try next summer...
Nothing beats spending time with the family!
Sadly, these are the only photos I got of friends while we were out. Ty actually took this cute family photo of the Featherstone's and thanks to Bev's automatic timer on her camera, we were able to grab this shot of Nancy, Bev, and I.
And finally on our last night in Utah we celebrated mom and dad's anniversary at Tepanyaki... Provo's version of Benihana's!
Another fun filled summer. Countdown to next summer... :)
